Adam Rains
The Golden Tiki Lead Mixologist & Beverage Director
Adam Rains has a true passion for food, wine, beer & spirits and is the 2019 Nevada Restaurant Association’s “Drink Specialist of the Year.” He is an author and the Lead Mixologist & Beverage Director for the world famous Golden Tiki. He also represents Lemba Rum and Alma Tequila and is assisting in developing a new whiskey for Silver State Distillery. Adam has helped opened several restaurants and bars, including The Dorsey (Sam Ross) Gordon Ramsay’s Pub and more recently for James Beard nominee Sheridan Su, where he designed the beverage program at Flock & Fowl. “Rains” as he is known, has also spread his love for craft beer as a Brand Ambassador for Brooklyn Brewery and has written for several publications such as Chilled Magazine, Tales of the Cocktail, and Las Vegas Food Beverage Professional.
Adam strives to learn every day and during his career he’s studied at SDSU (B.A), BarSmarts (Advanced), Court of Master Sommeliers (Level 1), International Sommeliers Guild (Level 1 & 2) the USBG and the Certified Cicerone Program (Level 1). He has also has won or placed in several local, national & international in Mixology competitions. Wanting to give back, he started a Charity Mug program at the Golden Tiki where he partners with brands to raise funds for a different charity every month. His mantra with both food & cocktails is, “fresh is best.”
