James Pelligrini is a Co-Founder and manager of Goat Rodeo Capital, a consumer growth equity firm that invests in the Beverage Alcohol, Traditional Beverage, and adjacent categories.  James is also Co-Founder of sPacific Gravity, a leading brand development and consulting firm.

James began his career in the beverage industry at E & J Gallo Winery where he held a variety of roles spanning the organization. At Gallo, James managed finances for their Spirits Business Unit, brokered major import agreements (including partnership with Whyte & Mackay), led the creation of Argonaut Brandy, and helped manage M&A initiatives for their Spirits Business.

James earned a degree in mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross. He holds an MBA from the Simon Business School, with concentrations in Strategy and Finance.
