Phil Wills has been in the bar business for over 20 years. His experience comes from all types of establishments. Corporate restaurants, independent local bars, major night clubs, and high-end mixology craft cocktail bars. In 2011 he started his own consultancy, The Spirits In Motion©, with long-time friend and bar business partner Tony Pereyra.

The Spirits In Motion© is an L.A. beverage-consulting company. Together, Phil and Tony have a combined over 30 years of bar and restaurant experience. Throughout their careers, Phil and Tony have gained expertise in every facet of the beverage industry. They have been crafting, creating, and training all over the U.S. and even internationally. They provide innovations in mixology, structured bar programs, strategic partnerships and positive training experiences. Believing in their motto, “Beverage is our business, Hospitality is our passion”, remix, rebuild or refresh, they keep The Spirits In Motion©. 

Phil Wills has been featured in multiple conference engagements such as Nightclub & Bar Show, Vibe, The Flavor Experience, and Tales of the Cocktail to name a few. While appearing in multiple media outlets, he currently is an expert on Bar Rescue for the past 5 seasons. His passion lies with the creation of great crafted cocktails, educate and training to make the craft of tending bar better as a whole.
